  • Cross Country Running Well to Start the Season

The cross country team has started the season well with impressive outings in their opening meets.  Sonoma Academy, with the help of our cross country families, hosted our league meet at Spring Lake with SA athletes winning both the boys (Alex Pallais) and girls (Lucy Gott) varsity races.  The Coyotes also had 2nd place finishes in both races (Ally Glenn and Jonas Crean) in addition to the following top 10 finishes:
Girls:  Ella Crenshaw 4th, Avani Borton 9th
Boys: Luke Fuette 4th, Leopold van den Daele 5th,  Archie Lee 9th

At the Viking Opener, the Coyotes again turned in some impressive performances with over 1,000 athletes from around Northern California competing on the day.  Jonas Crean finished sixth in the senior boys division, leading the Coyotes to a first place finish in that race.  On the girls side, Lucy Gott finished tenth in the Frosh/Soph race and was the top girl finisher for the Coyotes on the day.  For a complete list of results, visit:
