Admissions

Welcome to Sonoma Academy!

We are delighted that you are thinking about joining our vibrant, joyful, and inclusive community. Our students are genuinely excited to come to school and our parents express the wish that they could come to school here too! We believe that the best way to get to know us is to come visit and find out for yourself how fun and engaging high school can be.

We seek students who will become active, engaged, caring members of our community of learners. While we do not set minimum standards for admission, we use a holistic approach when evaluating each applicant, and students are selected for admission on the basis of academic aptitude and engagement with school and community, among other things. We are interested in getting to know each candidate as a whole person.

Standardized test scores are not required to apply. We do not believe it is equitable to require a standardized test score as part of our application.

We encourage students of every race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, physical ability, religion, and political affiliation to apply. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.

If you are interested in receiving more information about Sonoma Academy, then please complete an information request form. If you would like to visit the campus and attend an Open House or Visit Day, then please complete this form.
