Daily Lunch Program

"Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious."
—Ruth Reichl
We offer a daily lunch program, the cost of which is included in annual tuition fees.

We partner with SAGE, one of the leading food service providers to independent schools in the United States. SAGE's chef manager, Chef Amy Reed, works with us and our students to plan menus, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and international fare. Daily entrees, soups, salad and sandwich bars, and fresh fruits ensure something for everyone every day.

Robust recycling and composting programs and targets to annually increase the amount of local and organic foods used ensure that we are meeting the Sustainability Guidelines as set forth by the Board of Trustees.

SAGE promises to deliver:
  • Fresh meals made from scratch and cooked in small batches
  • A diverse menu tailored to your preferences
  • Balanced, nutrient-packed options
  • Accommodations for food allergies, dietary needs, and eating patterns
  • Local, sustainably sourced ingredients
  • Food and wellness education
Special programming includes:
  • Educational Seasonings featuring Ancient Grains, Foods of Venezuela, Pickling, and Dumplings Around the World
  • Free Style concept featuring menu items made without any of the top 12 most common allergens
  • Fun seasonal events and build-your-own bars, including rice and noodle bar, soft pretzel bar, mac & cheese bar, and burger bar
