Lacrosse Teams Take the Field

Through tumultuous weather, the SA Varsity Lacrosse teams have been able to take the field the last two weeks, allowing them to gain valuable early season experience against top competition.

The Varsity Boys have recorded victories over St. Vincent's, Petaluma High, and Stuart Hall using a combination of veteran upperclassmen, impressive underclassmen, and newcomers to the team. The boys now have an overall record of 3-1 heading into a weekend game against University High.

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team has yet to notch a win, but they have had a very tough schedule early in the season against much larger schools. What the girls have done is found many ways to be competitive in games, which will lead to success on the field as the season develops. The girls will host Sonoma Valley High on Saturday in a Vine Valley League matchup.
