Community Performing Arts Center

A Coming Attraction...

We know that when our students take part in the performing arts, they learn about much more than just theater, music, and dance—they collaborate, they create, they engage in self-expression and self-reflection, and they learn about the mysteries of human nature. For years, we have been dreaming of a space worthy of our incredible theater and music productions.

Our new Community Performing Arts Center will be more than a theater space; it will be a community gathering place, a forum for exchanging ideas, a laboratory for experiments in light, space, and sound. It will be a place for us to come together as a school for weekly Community Meetings, as well as a destination for members of the greater Sonoma County community to attend lectures, performances, readings, and symposia.

The programs we host in this new space will further connect us to our neighbors and our community, and will say, "Your voice matters."

The new Community Performing Arts Center will harmonize with the Guild & Commons and its gardens, reaching across to the Fitzsimmons Black Box Theater, to the Central Plaza and Jackson Banke Amphitheater, closing the circle embracing the central campus.

As we look forward to our 20th year, we ask your help in substantiating the promise of this new, larger performance space with an expanded performing arts and film program, the impact of which will be felt across our school, our students, and the entire greater North Bay community.
