We know that when our students take part in the Performing Arts, they learn about much more than just theater, music, and dance—they collaborate, they create, they engage in self-expression and self-reflection, and they learn about the mysteries of human nature. For years, we have been dreaming of a space worthy of our incredible theater and music productions, and later this year, we will see that dream become a reality.
Our new Community Performing Arts Center will be more than a theater space; it will be a community gathering place, a forum for exchanging ideas, a laboratory for experiments in light, space, and sound. It will be a place for us to come together as a school for weekly Community Meetings, as well as a destination for members of the greater Sonoma County community to attend lectures, performances, readings, and symposia.
