The View From Here: The Grange Food Program!

Janet Durgin, Head of School
I hope that you have had a chance to read the Grange Food Program announcement emailed yesterday (and available here on our web site). If you haven't yet, please do so this weekend. In our announcement, we ask for your questions and comments, and are happy to hear from you whether you simply wish to share our excitement or express your concerns. While we know that there will be a cultural shift, which can occasionally cause temporary discomfort, and no one wants to anticipate additional expenses (even though we spend money on lunch anyway), we expect that everyone will come to love having fresh, nutritious and delicious food available every day for lunch in our own beautiful dining facility.

I've already heard back from a number of parents who are delighted with the upcoming change. In the words of one: "After making lunches (to ensure healthy nutrition for my girls) for 14 years, bye bye to the dreaded daily task of finding healthy, interesting, quick things to put in the lunch box every morning.  You have just made one mom very, very happy!"
