Staffulty Transition

Sandy Stack, Director of Enrollment & Financial Aid, has announced that she has accepted a position at the National Cathedral Girls School in Washington, DC. She will depart Sonoma Academy at the end of June.

Sandy has devoted 14 years to Sonoma Academy and helped to lead us through an incredible period of growth. Under her tenure, and with the support of our Admissions team, our enrollment grew from 212 students to our current size of 335 students, with one of our largest incoming classes ever (88 incoming 9th graders) enrolled for next year. She has consistently worked to maximize the tuition assistance awarded to families, building a robust and diverse class each year. Additionally, over the past few years, Sandy spearheaded Institutional Research at SA, advancing various elements of our program utilizing a research lens, most recently in her work with our DEI Committee to implement our first-ever DEI Dashboard and belonging survey.

While it is hard to say goodbye to Sandy, we will use this moment as an opportunity to think about our overall enrollment management strategy and the best ways to move forward as a school. We will share more about plans soon and please know that we will find the best possible ways to bridge the transition. If you have questions about enrollment or financial aid, Sandy will be available through June 30. If a question arises following July 1, please reach out to Chief Operations Officer Rebecca Brown.
