Jasmine came to us in 2020, quite possibly the perfect person to take on the new role of Student Activities Coordinator. She holds a degree from San Francisco State University in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, and her work background includes event planning, summer camp administration, and substitute teaching. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at Sonoma State University, and her thesis focuses on building mental health through leadership skills in high schools.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys spending time in the abundant natural beauty of Sonoma County with her husband. She also really loves animals, with a small menagerie at home: two cats, a dog, and a turtle. Jasmine often opens her home to foster adoptable pets for Dogwood, a rescue nonprofit.

One of Jasmine’s favorite aspects of working at SA is observing the students working together. “It’s really inspiring to see how collaborative and creative the kids are!” she says.
