Debate Camp 2025

Debate Camp 2025

Sonoma Academy’s Flex Debate Camp offers a flexible, personalized experience for both novice and advanced debaters to sharpen their public speaking, research, and argumentation skills over the summer. Led by nationally recognized coaches Alyssa Lucas-Bolin, Anthony Trufanov, Sarah Lundeen, and Martin Osborn, the camp features a robust curriculum tailored to each student’s experience level. Whether you’re prepping for a competitive season or just getting started, we’ve got you covered with beginner and advanced tracks.

This year’s policy topic—U.S. exploration and/or development of the Arctic—will be introduced with clear resources for students new to the issue. With asynchronous modules, live coaching, and even an in-person commuter option, Sonoma Academy Flex makes debate camp work around your schedule—not the other way around. We focus on quality, equity, and flexibility to provide a rigorous and individualized experience unlike traditional camps.

Rising 9th-12th grade students are eligible for Sonoma Academy’s Flex Debate camps. The cost of camp will depend on which option you choose. Registration closes July 1, 2025.
