Caroline was born in Ireland and moved to Southern California when she was 9 years old. Since receiving her B.A from UC Santa Barbara, she has spent her entire career in education and counseling.  She taught ESL for several years in Italy, Spain, Austria and China, and moved to the Bay Area to pursue a Masters in Psychology.  Since 2011, she has worked as a therapist, first in support of children and families in foster care in San Francisco and the East Bay, and then in independent schools.  Since receiving her LMFT in 2015, Caroline has worked as a counselor at The Harker School and is currently at Mercy High School Burlingame, where she also taught an Intro to Psychology class. She's excited to join Sonoma Academy and bring her energy and enthusiasm for education and mental health to the community.

When she's not working, Caroline is spending time on a trail or with her husband, two young daughters (Evie, 4 and Anna, 2) and 15 year old dog Ned.
