Adam Martin
Speech & Debate Coach
UC Berkeley, BA

email: adam.martin[at]sonomaacademy.org

Adam was a nationally competitive debater at St. Vincent High School in Petaluma, then moved on to UC Berkeley, where he majored in philosophy. Adam comes to us from coaching the team at Analy High School, where he grew the team threefold and bringing them to be ranked 6th in the nation. In his free time, he feeds a lot of cats, reads a lot of obscure philosophy, hunts for mushrooms, and plays Minecraft.

Adam says, “Fate has brought me to SA: both of the past debate coaches came from my high school team and it is now my turn to carry the torch! I also like that there is so much grass on campus.”
