Janine joins us most recently from New Roads School in Santa Monica where she was the Academic Dean of the Upper School and also served as Assistant Upper School Head and Acting Upper School Head. Janine has a strong background in increasing parent engagement, overseeing academic planning and course advising, developing processes for staffulty professional growth, evaluation, and feedback, developing a robust Advisory program, and much more. Her commitment to supporting all students and promoting professional growth for teachers was evident right away, and she is clearly aligned with our school’s values of connection and community.

In addition to supporting our faculty, Janine teaches Chemistry at Sonoma Academy.
