Why I Give: Amanda McFadden

"It is the people at Sonoma Academy who make the magic happen. I give to SA because I am deeply invested in my community, where we celebrate the ensemble, coming together to work for a common goal. The willingness of the students and teachers to try new things and to work hard is all I could hope to ask for, not just as a teacher, but as a participant in a place where we carry each other. When we give our students something to work hard for, something that motivates them, they will - and do - shine. There is so much gratitude in this community, I think because we know we are at the helm of something very special.”
