Historic Boys Basketball Season Ends in NCS Playoffs

Athletic Department Staff
The most successful boys basketball season in the history of Sonoma Academy ended on Wednesday night in the first round of the NCS Playoffs. For the first time ever in Division 5, the Sonoma Academy boys were awarded a home game and the 7th seed. They hosted the 10th seed Urban from San Francisco in what proved to be a tough match-up for the Coyotes. When the final buzzer sounded the score was 68-38, but the defeat does nothing to take away from the varsity boys' 20-win season where they captured the first league championship in SA history. Congratulations to the boys basketball players and coaches. They have a lot to be proud of!
