Basketball Teams Start League Play, Varsity Teams Continue Winning Streaks

The Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams are both on winning streaks, with victories over Credo High to open league play this past Tuesday night.

The Varsity Girls went into overtime to defeat the visiting Gryphons, ending with a thrilling 44-38 final score in favor of the Coyotes. The Varsity Boys team captured their win in regulation play with an impressive double digit victory (52-29). The Varsity Girls have now won five games in a row, while the Varsity Boys have now extended their winning streak to six games in a row. In the JV game on Tuesday night, Credo High came out on top, pulling away in the second half for the win.

All three basketball teams will continue league play on Friday at St. Vincent de Paul in Petaluma. The start times are 5:00 pm for the JV Boys, 6:30 pm for the Varsity Girls, and 8:00 pm for the Varsity Boys.
