Early Season Success for JV Volleyball
The JV Volleyball team has already been one of the most successful JV teams in the past few years at Sonoma Academy. So far this season the Coyotes have only lost to large school teams, securing victories against every small school opponent they have faced in convincing fashion. As of this past week they have won five of their last seven matches, going back to their tournament championship at the Rio Lindo Invitational.
More important than the victories on the court is the vast improvement in volleyball skill and knowledge they have acquired in just a little more than one month of the season.
Next week, the JV Coyotes will play their first league games when they travel to Calistoga on Tuesday and host Credo on Thursday at SA at 5:00 pm.
