SA is the #1 Policy Debate Program in the Golden Gate Speech Association
For the second year in a row, SA Debate was named the #1 Policy Debate program in the Golden Gate Speech Association. The award is based on the team's cumulative success across all of the GGSA League Debates during the 2016-17 school year. The GGSA is comprised of 13 Bay Area counties that include the North Bay, the East Bay and San Francisco public and private high schools of all sizes. This accomplishment was particularly impressive this year in that SA beat out the 2nd and 3rd place schools which each have more than 4,000 student populations by earning more wins at the league debates with fewer overall entries than the other schools.
