Volleyball Teams Enter Final Weeks of League Play

Athletic Department Staff
The Sonoma Academy volleyball teams will play their final matches of the league season in the next three weeks, with both teams hoping to continue to build on their success thus far. The varsity volleyball team is currently 11-4 overall and 7-4 in league play, and they hope to finish the season strong as they are now looking to earn a top 10 seed in the North Coast Section Playoffs in late October. The JV girls volleyball team has a few big matches coming up, where they will try to defeat teams that they lost to in close matches earlier in the season. The varsity team will play two home matches next Monday and Tuesday at 6pm, with the JV team playing an intersquad scrimmage beforehand at 4pm. After the long weekend break both teams host Upper Lake on Tuesday, October 16 at 5pm and 6pm, with the Senior Night Ceremony set to take place before the varsity match. We hope youcan join us for some fun volleyball action in the next two weeks.
