Williams '19 and Stewart '21 Lead Coyotes at Stanford Invitational

Athletic Department Staff
The Coyotes competed in the Stanford Invitational Cross Country meet and Andre Williams '19 captured the Division V boys title. His 15:41.90 finish was almost 30 seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher and was also the fastest time run by an Empire athlete that day in all divisions. Kenzie Stewart '21 was the fastest Coyote in the girls Division V race, finishing 31st on the day.

It was a good outing for the SA athletes that competed on the day, providing a chance to match up with many of the top runners from throughout northern California as well as runners which come from other parts of the United States. The Coyotes will continue to train in preparation for scoring meets after the long weekend as well as the CMC Championships and NCS meets in November.
