Basketball Teams Up and Running

All four SA Basketball teams are now on the court and playing games! This past Tuesday night, the JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys teams traveled to Rio Lindo Adventist in Healdsburg, where all four teams picked up convincing double digit wins. For the JV girls it was their first game of the season, and the players were excited to step on the court and pick up their first win. For the JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys, it was their second win after all three had defeated Elsie Allen the Friday before Thanksgiving break. It is still early in the season, but all four teams have started strong and will look to build upon their early success.

The Varsity Girls will play in the Marin Academy tournament this weekend, while the Varsity Boys will travel to St. Helena for a tournament of their own. All four Coyotes teams will be on the court next Tuesday night at home. The action tips off with the JV Boys at 3:30 pm, the JV girls at 5:00 pm, the Varsity Boys at 6:30 pm, and the Varsity Girls wrapping it up at 8:00 pm. We hope to see you in the gym!
