Tennis Qualifies for NCS Playoffs to Finish Season

The Coyotes Varsity Tennis team, fresh off their undefeated league season and CMC Championship, qualified for the NCS boys doubles playoffs and NCS boys team playoffs for the first time in school history.

The doubles duo of Justin Koida ‘22 and Julian Mahrer ‘24 represented the Coyotes in the NCS playoffs at Santa Rosa High School. Although they lost, they competed from start to finish against a talented Head Royce team that was seeded #2.

The Coyotes team qualified for the NCS playoffs at the #12 seed and were set to travel to #5 Piedmont for their first round matchup. Unfortunately, due to roster availability, the Coyotes weren't able to compete, but this closed a very successful season. Congratulations to all of the tennis players and coaches on an amazing season!
