Coyotes Finish Historic Year of League Championships and Academic Pennants

The Sonoma Academy Coyotes are finishing a banner year in athletic and academic performance. Across the fall, winter, and spring seasons, Sonoma Academy teams captured seven league championships and also had six teams that earned NCS Scholastic Championship team pennants.

League Champions:
  • Varsity Boys Cross Country (NCL 2 League Champions)
  • Varsity Girls Volleyball (NCL 2 League Champions, first volleyball championship in program history)
  • Varsity Boys Soccer (NCL 2 League Champions)
  • Varsity Girls Soccer (North Bay League Redwood League Champions, first large school league championship in school history)
  • Varsity Girls Track & Field (NCL 2 League Champions)
  • Varsity Tennis (CMC South League Champions)
  • Varsity Baseball (NCL 2 League Champions, first baseball championship in program history)
In addition, the Coyotes had six teams earn NCS Scholastic Championship team pennants, which are awarded to the top three team GPAs in each sport and division for the North Coast Section.
