Baseball Finishes League Championship Season in NCS Playoffs

The Coyotes Varsity Baseball team captured the first league championship in program history with a 9-1 league record. Their lone loss, to Technology High, came after they had already clinched the league title.

After capturing the league title, the Coyotes earned the #10 seed in the 16 team North Coast Section Division V bracket.  Stuart Hall, the #7 seed, travelled from San Francisco to Doyle Park for the opening round of the NCS playoffs, where they picked up an 8-2 win.

The Coyotes finished 12-6 overall, including an eight-game winning streak that propelled them to the league championship and clinched a playoff spot. It was the eighth consecutive NCS playoff appearance for the SA baseball team.

Congratulations to the student-athletes and coaches on a successful season, and for winning the first baseball league title in program history!
