Spring Teams Resume Season

The Coyotes spring sports teams resumed this week, connecting via Zoom with student athletes, coaches, and athletic staff. After a two week spring break, everyone was excited to see one another and participation was high. Although we aren't able to practice or compete, the coaches and athletes are getting creative to accomplish the following:
  • Staying ready to resume competition, should the opportunity arise
  • Staying connected and providing support, motivation, and inspiration for one another in the team setting
  • Maintaining and/or improving overall fitness and sport specific skills from home
  • Having fun together with our teammates!

The coaches are leading athletes by providing workout plans and video analysis, and we are also encouraging our students to return to the mindset of an in-season student-athlete. Developing a routine, eating well, staying hydrated, managing time effectively, getting adequate sleep, and making time to exercise are all important, whether we are competing on the field or training at home.

All of that said, we miss seeing all of the Coyotes in uniform, proudly competing for our amazing school. We look forward to the next time we can be together in our strong pack!
