Volleyball Teams Finishing Strong Down the Stretch

With just two weeks left in the regular season, the varsity volleyball team won two matches this past week three sets to zero, with wins against Roseland Collegiate Prep and Calistoga. The JV team topped Calistoga as well on Tuesday night, winning by a score of two sets to zero, in a match that was very close the entire way.

Both teams will complete their final regular season games this coming week, on Monday the JV team will have an intersquad scrimmage at 4pm, followed by the varsity team vs. Tomales at 6pm. Then, on Thursday night the JV team will play their final match of the season vs. Upper Lake at 5pm, with the varsity team to follow at 6pm. Thursday will also be senior night, this year we will honor Olivia Jacobs before the JV match and Lauren Anderson before the varsity match. Both ceremonies will begin ten minutes before scheduled game start time.

Finally, next Sunday the varsity team will find out their postseason fate when the North Coast Section Division 5 playoff brackets are released, the girls are looking to qualify for the single elimination postseason tournament for the ninth consecutive season.

We hope you can join us in the gym this week for an exciting final week of volleyball!
