Girls Lacrosse Wraps Up 2019 Season

Athletic Department Staff
The girls lacrosse team lost a very close 16 to 14 game at Petaluma High last week to end the 2019 season for the Coyotes. Despite the loss, the girls lacrosse team has a lot to celebrate this season, inclduing the leadership and play of nine seniors along with the development and skill of their younger players. The girls lacrosse team plays in the newly formed Vine Valley Athletic League, which consists of several large schools throughout Sonoma and Napa Counties. The size of their opponents did not stop the Coyotes from experiencing success this year, with victories over Cardinla Newman, Rancho Cotate, and Petaluma. While they will defintely miss the seniors who will be graduating, they have laid a nice foundation for the talented returning players to build upon, the future looks bright for the SA girls lacrosse team.
