Varsity Girls Basketball Finishes Season in NCS Playoffs

Athletic Department Staff
The varsity girls basketball team came up just short last Wednesday night in a first round NCS playoff game at Bentley High School in Lafayette. The Coyotes were in a back and forth game with the 7th seeded Phoenix, and at the end of regulation both teams were tied with 37 points. In overtime, it was Bentley who would pull away and come out with the four point victory, but it was not before the SA girls played them tough. The loss ends the season for the Coyotes who finish the season with an outstanding 18-9 record and a league co-championship. The girls will only lose one senior off this year's team and will come back even stronger next season. Congratulations to the girls and coaches on a successful basketball season.
