Girls Basketball Wins League Championship

Athletic Department Staff
The varsity girls basketball team finished the NCL 4 league season with a record of 7-1 (18-7 overall) to share the league championship with St. Vincent de Paul. Both teams split their two league match-ups and defeated every other team in the legaue to create a co-cahmpions situation. St. Vincent's and Sonoma Academy will now play at Sonoma Academy on Saturday, February 9th at 3pm to determine who will get the automatic qualification for next week's NCS tournament. The girls are excited to continue their season next week in the NCS tournament, and with just one senior on the roster (Grace Rubardt), the young Coyotes are looking to get valuable experience that will help continue their success next season and beyond. NCS seedings will be released this Sunday and can be found on maxpreps.com, good luck to the girls in the playoffs.
