The Ballad of Barbara Allen

The Ballad of Barbara Allen

October 26 through October 29 in the Fitzsimmons Black Box Theater

Set in the Smoky Mountains of Appalachia, The Ballad of Barbara Allen is a timeless story of true love and the struggle for acceptance. John, a strange witch-boy, falls in love with the beautiful young Barbara. Will their love overcome the misconceptions of the well-meaning townsfolk, the power of the forceful Preacher Haggler, and the dark magic of the jealous witch Morrigan?

With lots of live bluegrass and Americana music and just the right amount of spooky ambiance, this romantic tale will move you, surprise you, and haunt you after the curtain falls.

This show is double cast; please refer to the cast lists below to make sure you are buying tickets for the cast you'd like to see.
