Hamlet

William Shakespeare's Hamlet

February 9 through February 12 in the Fitzsimmons Black Box Theater

Hamlet is one of William Shakespeare's best-known and most-loved works. A tragedy which appeals to audiences past and present, it deals with a wide variety of deeply relatable themes, including love, death, revenge, and mental health. Our staging of the classic tale is set in 2002, with costumes designed by Isaiah Zekarias '23 (who also plays Hamlet in the RosenCast).

We are thrilled to welcome guest director Tim Kniffin, an award winning stage, film, and voice actor, director, and theatre educator. He has performed professionally throughout the United States for over 25 years, and has the unique experience of creating theatre in Poland before the fall of the Berlin Wall, in the immediate aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. Tim and the cast and crew have been working hard to bring this classic tale of revenge, family secrets, and destiny to life. Tickets go on sale soon!
