Cross Country Finishes Strong at the NCS Meet

The Coyotes Cross Country teams finished their seasons at the North Coast Section Meet in Hayward with strong performances. The Girls Team finished 9th out of 18 teams, and the boys finished 10th out of 25 teams.

Athena Ryan ‘24 took 6th place out of 144 runners in the Division V Girls race, putting her in a qualifying position for the CIF State Meet. Javier Hernandez-Barragan finished 36th out of 196 runners in the Division V boys race. It was a competitive final day of running for the Coyotes, who captured league championships in JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys, as well as capturing the conference championships in both Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.
