The Future Begins Here Campaign
Overall Goal: $40 million
2007-08 Goal: $8 million ($3 million in cash)
Progress as of 11/07: $20.2 million
Sonoma Academy’s comprehensive campaign, called The Future Begins Here, has three goals: to provide funding for the permanent campus, to sustain and grow the academic program, and to build the school’s endowment.
The Campus. The 34-acre site on which the campus is being built is surrounded by nearly 2,000 acres of protected open space. The campus will be a source of inspiration for our students and faculty and a resource for the community.

The Program. The school’s program continues to grow every year and will expand even further in its permanent surroundings. This year we have added an environmental leadership concentration for students, and we plan to add other areas of concentration in subsequent years. In athletics we have added girls volleyball and co-ed track.
The Endowment. Endowment gives our school strength for the present and the future. Financial security enables us to continue extending educational opportunities to the broadest spectrum of talented students. It also provides funds for program resources and campus operations into the future.
