About us

Tight knit. Supportive. Encouraging.

These are words our students use to describe the community at SA. And they don’t just mean their peers. Teachers at SA are also advisors to small groups of students and take an active interest in their students’ lives. If a student is having a problem, teachers will notice and intervene. And when students do something great or challenge themselves, the entire community applauds.

Community and Support Structures

  • Number of students in advisory group with one teacher: 6 to 8
  • Times the faculty meet to discuss individual students: Weekly
  • Times the entire school attends community meeting: Weekly

Here all the teachers support you and are really interested in you. I didn’t have that with any teachers from my old school.”
