The Sonoma Academy Arts Departments present
The original adaptation of
THE CANTERBURY TALES - a perambulatory pageant.
This unique production integrates a script, adapted by SA students from Chaucer's masterpiece, giant pageantry puppets built in SA art classes, and music and theater performances developed in our Performance Studio course. One special feature of the performance will be to have you, the audience, join us on a rambling pilgrimage around the beautiful Sonoma Academy campus, as we regale you with tales of wit, romance and wisdom. We look forward to sharing this performance with you. So, come join the procession! Bring a picnic blanket and a basket full of bounty for the journey. Wear clothing and shoes for a short hike. Come celebrate the arts at SA and Geoffrey Chaucer's marvelous Canterbury Tales!
