Health and Wellness class will help you make smarter decisions about your health and personal growth.

Topics relevant to your life.

As a freshman, you and your classmates will explore the transition to high school. You’ll discuss topics like time management, wellness, study and communication skills. Sophomore year, you’ll focus on relationships, self-knowledge, healthy boundaries, body image, self-defense, addiction, sexually transmitted diseases and sexuality.

As a junior, you’ll focus on preparing for college admissions, as well as revisit topics from sophomore year. In your final year here, you’ll prepare to make the transition to college.

Specially trained seniors serve as Health and Wellness Teaching Assistants for lower classes. This is a mutually beneficial relationship – inspiring younger students and providing older students with the opportunity to be mentors.
